Introduction: 1) Man has consistently failed to lead within the home/country

• Adam blamed Eve for his failure to obey God
  • Eve offered the fruit; she didn’t force him to eat
  • Adam had a relationship with God prior to Eve
    • Why did Adam supplant that relationship for Eve’s desire?
  • Adam was not in position to prevent the conversation with the snake
    • Where was Adam when Eve spoke with the snake?
    • What was it about the relationship that Eve ignored Adam’s warning?
    • If Adam was next to Eve why did he allow the conversation?
    • Some Men today think it fashionable to cheat on wives
      • Marriage is a sacred union instituted by God
        • God won’t bless sin filled environments

Proposition: 2) What are the ramifications of Man failing in homes/society?

• Man is regarded and expressed as a joker in media and women are now written in as the heroines who save men.
• Generational Curses and dysfunctionality are produced
  • Children replicate the examples
    • Boys become like their fathers
    • Girls married, or seek out people like their fathers
  • Women grow to disdain men and refuse to trust them
    • Society produces anti-marital behaviors
      • Homosexuality
      • THOT culture (Female Promiscuity)
      • Couples that swing (opened relationships)

Body: 3) Man must humble himself

Man requires God’s help to survive. (See Act 17:28)

1. We are breathing air because God ordains it
2. We are able to walk around because God allows it
3. We exist because God created us

What is man without God, he would not exist! We can write God out of our history, but we can’t exclude him from existence no matter how many lies we tell.

It is through pride that man has separated himself from God. Twisted tails, teachings, and ideologies that support man as independent from God permeate the earth, and are the foundation of false teachings!

            4) Who is Man intended to be?

Man must return to God and become a good example for his home

Man was created first! He is intended to lead and protect his family.

Depending upon the woman he marries, man can set the tone for the home!

• Love your wife
  • Women love to be adored (given attention)
  • They want you to remember why you chose them
  • They want to feel like the only woman in the world to you
  • Some don’t say, but they want you to show concern for their:
    • Safety
    • Health
    • Happiness
    • Feelings
  • If you married a godly woman, she would respect the position of Husband
    • Godly women look for a man to lead as intended
    • Choosing women with a Jezebel Spirit brings issues
      • Cheating, disrespect, violence, discord
      • Anger and lack of peace for you

You are a team, let no one come between you two, not even children should separate the sanctity of marriage. They are a product, and not the foundation of your union.

No one and nothing should able, nor allowed to separate you two!

Man’s repentance will bring God’s favor back into his life, as well as the lives of those around him! See II Chron 7:14 (number of perfection)

• 4 things for Man to do
• 3 things God will do in response to our actions!

Conclusion:  Man must follow God in obedience

In the correct place as Head of his family, man can steer the family back on track as he follows the Head of the Household, God!

The healing of your family begins with your own healing! The deliverance of your family begins with your own deliverance! The salvation of your family begins with your own salvation!

Stand up! Take your rightful place as Head of your family and a Man of God!

Let God take his rightful place as Head of your Household!
