Passage: Matthew 14:22-31

Text: Mat 14:22-31

Title: “Step Out On Faith!” Step#2

Intro:

Once we make the decision to serve God, we must work to nurture our relationship with Him! The first step in the process is learning to trust in Him only!

Prop:

Do you wish to learn to trust in Yayah regardless of your circumstances?

Body:

                                                            Are You Ready?

Last week we called out to the LORD “Fill My Cup LORD!”

This week we are reminded that we must believe that He will do as we asked!

 2Co 5:7

“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”

The Bible tells us in Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance..

We are reminded in Heb 11:6, without faith, there is no reason for us to call out to God! We must first establish faith and trust in His Word, and walk in that Faith!

Faith is not seeing and then believing, but rather trusting before manifestation.

This is the time to investment Saints! The time to place all of our trust in Yahuah!

When investing:

  • We invest because we are confident that we will receive an ROI
    • We place our assets in the hands of the investor’s expertise
    • We trust that our investment will be returned many times over
    • We trust the investor to improve our situation

 Jhn 20:29

“Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

So, why don’t we trust in Yah? “Step Out On Faith!”

Faith is, in fact, the natural result of a fortified trust and relationship.

You cannot step out on something you do not have!

  • You become aware of a person through introduction to them.
  • You must be introduced to a person before spending time with them.
  • You must spend time with a person to get to know them.
  • You must know a person to build a relationship with them.
  • You must build a relationship before you develop the faith to trust them

Misinformation was something blocking the disciples, ability to trust in Yeshua.

  • They saw Yeshua work miracles
  • They heard His Revelatory Exegesis of the Word of God
  • They walk with Him as He walked a sin free walk with Yah
  • They only considered the incorrect understanding of the prophecy

What is clouding your Faith?

  • Have you forgotten what God has done for you?
  • Have you forgotten where He has brought you from?
  • What don’t you believe Yah for your desires or needs in life?
  • Are you lacking in your relationship with Yah?

Abram and his seed were rewarded because of his Faith!

  • People receive dominion, power, and anointing because of their faith!
  • Generations were saved, healed, and delivered because of Faith!

I am challenging us all today to “Step Out On Faith!”

If you’re going to trust and believe anyone it should be the LORD our God!

In truth, hasn’t he always been there for you?

When has Yah ever let you down?

Let us be certain and true regarding our past.

  • We have done things our way and then blamed God for how it ended
  • We have moved before, or without, trying to hear the Voice of Yah
    • Yah didn’t tell you to buy that house, car, boat, vacation pkg
    • Yah didn’t tell you to get into that relationship or take that job

Let us put our trust in Yeshua, the son of the Living God Yayah!

How do we “Step Out On Faith?”

  • Surrender your personal issues to God and repent of sin
  • Begin seeking God’s Face
  • Spending intimate time with Yah
    • Quiet time without interruption
  • Study the Word while incorporating prayer and fasting

Make the investment in Yah, the returns will be out of this world!

Two goals:

  1. How can I apply this and commit to be better? (Change of mind)
  2. How can I apply this and commit to do better? (Change in actions)

Conclusion:

Yayah is asking you to change. Are you willing? “Are You Ready?”
