Title: “Running On Empty!” Step#3

Intro:

People of the world today are tired. They are weakened and fearful of what is going to be there life! They are losing their faith in God at the wake of the spiritual battles they yet face!

Prop:

If you are “Running On Empty”, if you need for your faith to be rekindled, then come to Yeshua for another filling!

Body:

                                                            Are You Ready?

Don’t allow the pressure of your challenges to drain your Faith in God Promises!

We often forget, whether in the heat of battle or down time, Yah’s goodness!

We focus our mind and energy on the circumstantial/carnal matters of life.

Many times, we find ourselves sulking in present conditions, worrying or fear.

The objective of sin is to manipulate and control the mind through:

  • Lust, fear, anxiety, or shame
    • Most actions we take find their roots in these issues (1 John 2:16)

7 whole days makes one week. 7 days without prayer makes one weak!

The danger of staying out of constant contact with God is real Saints!

  • If you practice constant prayer, fasting, and trusting Yah you’re a “Fanatic!”
    • Fan being the root word
    • Fans of football, basketball, and baseball teams are ok
    • Fans acting crazy, painting themselves are dedicated
    • Dedication to God is being a fanatic
  • Demonic entities want you to feel ashamed of your love and trust in God
  • The world wants you to want their approval
    • What has this world ever done for you that God can’t do?

“In times of peace the Wise build bridges, fools build walls!”

If we find ourselves “Running On Empty” it is usually because we have moved too far away from the “Filling Station” of the Throne of Grace!

Charlies Kirk’s death has proven something in the US:

  • This country is, indeed, “Running On Empty!”
  • This nation is filled with false religion and fake Christians
  • Hatred and division are celebrated, while peace is rejected
  • Many people feed off of death, deceit, evil, and murder
  • The US claims to be a Christian Nation, but has never been Christian

What is a Christian: (One who is Christ-Like) See Gal 5:16-23

  • Christ fed the poor and hungry
  • Christ healed the sick and dead
  • Christ forgave sins and offered salvation
  • Christ taught people how to love by loving them
  • Christ offered a helping hand to strangers
  • Christ delivered the demon oppressed
  • Christ taught and walked in peace
  • Christ sacrificed himself for the greater good of undeserving sinners

Those who serve Satan:

  • Believe in gun violence
  • Reject peace and empathy
  • Hate those who aren’t like them
  • Have no forgiveness in their hearts
  • Operate in pride believing they are better because they look a certain way
  • Don’t mind stealing, murdering, lying, or defaming others
  • Believe in the Supremacy of a specific group

Such persons calling themselves Christian aren’t merely “Running On Empty!”

  • Chances are they were never filled!

You might be “Running on Empty” if:

  • Fear has replaced your Faith
  • The cares of this world have become your bedtime story
  • Your grievances are greater than your grace
  • You lie instead of loving
  • Pontificating has replaced your passion
  • Melancholy has replaced your joy
  • Preoccupation has replaced your peace

If you want to be filled then there is but one solution:

  • Come to Yeshua as humble as you know how
  • Put the cares of this world behind you
  • Learn to seek God in earnest in the absence of pride
  • Be willing to self-evaluate and prepare for change
  • Give Yah the control of your life and burdens
  • Place all of your faith and trust in God

 Two goals:

  1. How can I apply this and commit to be better? (Change of mind)
  2. How can I apply this and commit to do better? (Change in actions)

Conclusion:

Yayah is asking you to change. Are you willing? “Are You Ready?”
