Lesson #5: “The Whitewashing of History!”

4 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

The erasure of the true ethnicity of the Israelites began as early as 2nd century AD.

All of the earliest depictions of Yeshua from the 1st Century were of a Black Man.

The Second Commandment states Israel was neither to worship, nor create any graven images of anything in the Heavens or Earth.

As Christians, we should not have any images, depictions, or other forms of expression concerning the image of God, Yeshua, or anyone else.

Therefore, other cultures would have been responsible for most  early depictions.

It is imperative to recall that Europeans are converts to “Christianity”, not the Founding Fathers of it! They are hardly “Subject Matter Experts”.

The first European depiction of Christ is said to have been created near 240CE.

• Emperor Constantine converted for political reasons, and convened the Council of Nicea in 325 AD to standardize Christian Doctrine

• Early Church Father’s Aurigin, Tertullian, and Augustine were in attendance and a crucial part of this doctrine building and were Africans, yet every documentary, video, or text portrays Africa as a backward, uncivilized continent that needed Europeans to enlighten them.

• Soon after this meeting, Mosaics in Byzantine Churches depicted Yeshua as more European, and the European Renaissance ushered in artists like Michael Angelo 1508 AD depicting biblical scenes using European Models (white disciples, angels, etc becomes the new standard)

• Image begins to shape the identities of those who would be impacted negatively and positively

• 1455 Papal Bull Romanus Pontifex- states that Portugal has the “God given” right to enslave Africans because they are heathen, subhuman, savages

• 1493 Pope Alexander VI issues Papal Bull Inter Caetera dividing the New World between Spain and Portugal with enslavement of indigenous peoples, yet as the self-proclaimed experts on the Word of God Ex 21:16 isn’t relevant 

• Berlin Conference of 1884 Europe carves up Africa, extracts their resources, and imposed their languages, cultures, and religions, while telling Africans they have no history, civilization, or connection to anything of value

• The Timbuktu Manuscripts thousands of texts on (Science, Medicine, Astronomy, and Theology) were stolen, hidden, or destroyed. Universities and libraries that thrived while Europe lived in the Dark Ages were erased

• The Kingdom of Kush, Empire of Mali, The Civilization of Great Zimbabwe were all minimized or attributed to outside (European) influence 

• Egypt is in Africa, the Pyramid, Sphinx, Temples of Luxor, and Karnak were all built by African hands. The library of Alexandria, one of the ancient world’s greatest repositories of knowledge was in Africa.

• Gen 9 the Curse of Ham Doctrine of Theology was perverted interpretation of a curse placed upon a single individual by a human, not God! It was used to justify enslavement of African People. The Curse was on Canaan only, Canaan’s descendants were Canaanites from Israel and not Sub-Saharan Africa,  it was a man made pronouncement not from God, and Yeshua’s Blood breaks all curses. (Taught slavery as Divine will, then pushed Jim Crow)

• Slaves were tortured and forced to reject their heritage, names, religion, and to convert to Christianity

• Theological Semenaries of today are taught with the same past principles of racism, Jim Crow, and white supremacy at their foundation. The racist policies of the West are also written by the descendants of slave owners today. 

“History belongs to he who writes it!”

In the 1870’s, a French public research university called, the University of Montepellier, put out a book (title below) on geography.

The book talks about the Kingdom of Juda, stating,

“Juda is a old city frequented since the 16th century by the Portuguese slavers, who gave it its name. It’s inhabitants were said to be Judaic, “and they were indeed considered as a remnant of scattered tribes of Israel”

Recall the New and Accurate Map of Negroland discussion last week.

In other words, some of the Black people stolen and brought to America are the indigenous people of Israel, aka Israelites, from the Kingdom/Tribe of Judah.

Over a thousand years before, around 100 AD, a Roman historian named Tacitus wrote about the race of Jews in his book, “Histories”.

In the book, Tacitus wrote about Jews, saying: “Many assure us they were a race of Ethiopian origin.”

An English historian named Godfrey Higgins, (1772–1833) stated,

“According to many testimonies the inhabitants of Sudan, Egypt, Arabia, Palestine, Western Asia, and India were Ethiopians, therefore Africans.”

As we know, Palestine has become another name for Israel.

Abraham was the father of the Israelite race. His grandfather from Cush, which is Ethiopia. Abraham was from Chaldea, in Mesopotamia. Historians have proven that the Chaldeans were black.

The British historian Godfrey Higgins wrote in the 17th century in his book Anacalypsis, about the early inhabitants of Chaldea)

“I admit with great difficulty the theory of all the early astronomical knowledge of the Chaldees having been acquired or invented by his race, and that the Chaldeans were originally negroes.”

Act 7:2-4

2” And [a]Stephen said, “Listen to me, [b]brothers and fathers! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in [c]Haran, 3 and He said to him, ‘Go from your country and your relatives, and come to the land which I will show you.’ 4 Then he left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in [d]Haran. And from there, after his father died, God had him move to this country in which you are now living.”

We also know that the Ancient Israelites looked like the Ancient Egyptians, who were clearly Black. (Joseph & Moses)

In 1876 a French geographer named, Élisée Reclus also, wrote about the same Kingdom of Juda, on the slave coast in West Africa, in his book called, The Earth and Its Inhabitants.

He wrote: “Known to Europeans by various names of Fida, Heredah, Whydah, Wida. The old writers called it Juda, and it’s inhabitants were said to be Jews.”

“There was also a Jew community in Timbuktu, Mali.”

The Curse prophesied: Deut 28:15-68; Eze 6:8-10; Matt 28:19

See Deut 28:15, 21, 23, 25-26, 30, 32, 43-46, 48-49, 64, 68; Amos 3:1-2, Gen 15:12-14, Luke 21:20-24, Ps 83:1-8

1. Deut 28:15 

a.  If Israel fails to obey God’s Commandments this is its future

2. Deut 28:23

a. Thy Heaven will be brass, earth shall be iron (mass incarceration)

3. Deut 28:25-26

a. They shall be forced into submission in all the kingdoms of earth

b. Thy carcasses shall feed birds and beast (lynchings, burnings, murder)

4. Deut 28:30

a. Thou shalt betroth a wife and another shall lie with her (slavery)

5. Deut 28:32 

a.  Thy children shall be enslaved and taken from thee

6. Deut 28:43-45 

a. The stranger within thee shall rise, thou shall come down low (whites and others ruling over you)

b. You shall borrow from them and not lend to them

c. You shall be the tail, they shall be the head

d. These curses shall overtake thee (African Americans have been destroyed)

7. Deut 28:48

a. Thou shalt serve thy enemies which the Lord shall send (Portuguese)

b. He shall put a yoke about thy neck (chains)

8. Deut 28:64

a. Scatter thee among all people from one end of earth to the other.

b. Thou shalt serve gods which thou nor thy fathers have known.

9. Deut 28:68 (See also Luke 21:20-24)

a. The Lord shall bring thee again into Egypt with ships (return to slavery- who was taken into slavery by ship? Egypt was a walk from Canaan, no ships can be used to get there)

b. Thou shalt see it no more (Ethiopia/ The Promised Land)

c. You shall be sold to thy enemies for bondmen, and bondswomen, and no man shall buy you (no man shall free you, buy you out of your captivity, no kinsmen redeemer will free you)

10. Amos 3:1-2

a. You only, have I known of all the families of the earth (chosen)

b. I will punish you for all your iniquities (due to disobedience)

11. Gen 15:13-14

a. Thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them, and they shall afflict them four hundred years.

b. Also, that nation who they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward they shall come out with great substance. (these nations will all be judged by God soon! (400 years are over Trump mentioned our 400 yrs here!)

12. Luke 21:20-24

a. Jerusalem compassed about by armies represents the end of the time in the promised land until the end of time approaches.

b. Let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains (Dispersing of the Israelites all over the world begins)

c. Days of vengeance (Prophecy is being fulfilled)

d. Woe be unto them that are with child (God’s Wrath is experienced)

e. They shall be led away captive to all nations. (Slavery by ships taking Israelites into all nations around the world)

There is but one group in all of history who can say this curse befell them!
