"Walk With Me!"

Passage: Isaiah 1:17-19

Intro:

Yahuwah has called Mankind to have a relationship with Him all throughout our history. An open invitation exists even until this very day! We have but to accept the invitation!

Prop:

The moment we realize we are imperfect and that we need Yah in every aspect of life, if we want life to be better, we can be saved!

Body:

Who wants their life to change? Their mind, heart, spirit, and ways.

Scripture tells us in Romans 3:11-12:

“11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”

John 6:65

“65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.”

We always think we will lose out on that last fine specimen, party, or high!

Some sort of sin always has a choke hold on us mentally, physically, or spiritually.

This lets us know that Yahuwah has to seek us out before we “Come to Him!”

We are wicked at birth, and primarily seek out carnal desires.

The scripture tells us that Enoch walked with God.

Walked: to die, live, manner of life (fig.)

Therefore, Enoch allowed Yahuwah to change his way of living, thinking, and behavior!

He agreed with Yah, that Yahuwah’s Way would be better and that He was right!

We know this because Yah is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.

Amos 3:3 asks the question:

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

  • Why do we place such high value on things that destroy us?
  • Why don’t we cling to Yah, especially when times are hard?
  • Yah brings peace and joy to our lives no matter what it looks like.
  • The Holy Spirit removes pain, sorrow, anger, malice, bitterness, rage, and unforgiveness when we relent.
  • Giving in to Yah means surrendering our pain to someone who cares!
  • Trust means knowing Yah is more capable than me, and giving Yah permission to let me down.
    • We fail to trust God because we fear him letting us down based upon how we see ourselves (Unworthy).
  • This represents the fear that Yah is going to fail me, just like everyone else has.
  • Or do we fear that we won’t abide by a covenant with Yah because it would cost us too much.
    • I am not yet done playing!

Conclusion:

We cannot come to God until we surrender to God!

If you are tired of this world, like me, then join me as I surrender to the Holy Spirit and walk with Yahuwah!
