"Slavation Is Compartmentalization!"

Passage: 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
Text: 2 Cor 6:14-18, Lev 10:9-11
Title: “Salvation Is Compartmentalization!”
Intro: Today we seem to trust in money more than in God! Ministries use ungodly doctrines to keep people in the pews, rather than to keep Yah in the building. If you mention trust in God you are scoffed at and talked about.
Prop: Money can’t give you peace, for real peace you need to go to the Peace Maker. You need to seek God!
Body:
“Are You Ready”
What does the word “Compartmentalize” mean?
Compartmentalizing is the separating and identifying of items, people, etc.
I am speaking about a Spiritual prioritizing of one’s life.
Making God our most Paramount Priority, that is the goal!
Believers must learn the difference between Holy and unholy lives, thoughts, behaviors, and habits.
Nothing on this Earth is to take Hayah’s place in our hearts, or our lives.
Prioritizing causes us to place everything in its appropriate space within our lives.
This prevents us from idol worship and creating gods out of things and people.
Ever heard the say: “A place for everything, and everything in it’s place!”
Know the place for something and keeping it there prevents that thing from obstructing our view, pathway, or mission.
Money:
- Pays bills, provides assets, resources, and luxuries
- Can’t make us happy, create love, or comfort us
- Can’t heal our pain or illnesses (Having money can expose you to treatments)
The fact is this:
- Yah provides you with the ability, resources, and possibility to make money
- Nothing we have is because of us
- The world has convinced people that they are the reason they find success
- If Yah takes His hand off of your life devastation will follow
The need to compartmentalize:
- Yah cares for, sustains, and provides for us all, he should be first
- The only commonality we share with sinners is sin (Don’t awaken sin)
- Identify where our loyalty lies (what/who is most important in our life)
- We must separate the paramount from the trivial, holy from unholy
- Make a statement to the world with our thoughts, words, and behaviors
- Build confidence in our salvation, and resistance to sin through separation
- We strengthen our walk by focusing on holy things (Purify our minds)
- There is nothing we cannot do when Yah is dedicated to our success
- Let us make God first above all people and things in life
Matt 6:30 tells us that we are an actual priority of Yah’s, so why isn’t He ours?
Matt 6:19-21 reminds us that wherever our focus is, this is where our heart is.
Mat 15:8-9
“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”
Its time to go back Saints, to the Old Ways, the “Good Path” spoken of in Jer.
Conclusion:
Yah is asking you to change! Are you willing to change? Are you ready to change?
