Who We Are

Our Mission:

We have been chosen and sent by God to repair the spiritual condition of men preaching Christ Jesus, rebuild the family unit by teaching love and righteousness, and restore Godly communities and their relationships with God through obedience to His Word! And our prayer is that this changes the World in which we live!

"One person, one family, and one community at a time"

Our Values

Holiness:

"Holiness is a choice, a Lifestyle: God is looking for people who will repent, surrender, honor and obey him."

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.              (Heb. 12:14, KJV)

Love

"The Basis for holiness is derived from Love!"

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.               See (I John 4:7-9 KJV)

Study of God's Word

"We study God's Word so that He may prick our hearts and transform our minds from that of this world to that of His (God's) Mind!"

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.                         (II Tim 2:15, KJV)

Community

"We are our brother's keeper!"

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. (Acts 4:34-35, KJV)

Our STory

God called Pastor Akins to serve him as a child. Due to what he witnessed growing up, he was not willing to serve the Lord as he grew older.  Always being well aware of the calling on his life, Pastor Akins could not escape the sound of God's voice. He was raised as what is affectionately known as a "PK" or Preacher's Kid! As a result, certain things were a given. He would attend church each time the doors were opened, he would pray, and read the Bible. He served in the church however and wherever there was a need, according to his God-given talents. First Lady Erica L. Akins grew up with family deeply rooted in the church as well. Though veering off in her younger years, the presence of God remained strong in her life. She later served diligently under leaders from ministries that she was called to serve with. Both Pastor and First Lady Akins returned to God at their appointed times and continued to serve.

Unbeknownst to them, God worked in their individual lives, cultivating a dream of helping people come to Christ, and receive what they needed spiritually, emotionally, naturally, and otherwise. They met, fell in love, and as their lives and family grew, so did the need to serve as their hearts intended. They both shared dreams of building Job Corps for training people, food banks for distribution of food stuffs to the needy, affordable housing communities for godly people, where people could feel safer and trust the environment to godly order. Now they are embarking upon a great mission to fulfill the Great Commission of Preaching Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

In our church mission we mention our call to "Repair", "Rebuild", and "Restore" our communities, families, and people one person at a time. We live in a day when service has been forgotten by most, including the Church! The first churches were organized to feed God's people spiritually, naturally, and otherwise. We are called to serve God's People, and in doing so inspire them to do the same! We are, indeed, our "Brother's Keepers"! The purpose of this Ministry is to bring back the "Days of Old" when we were concerned with each other; When the village raised a child, and no one was allowed to go without. We are reminded that God is love in I John 4:8, and if God truly resided within us, we would also love! Love is not what it says, but what it does! Isn't it about time? Actions speak louder than words! Join us in building a church family that does much more than what it says!
